What are Nano Brows?

While both microblading and Nano brows aim to enhance the eyebrows, they vary in their application techniques and outcomes. Microblading is renowned for its sharp and defined hair-stroke effect, perfect for achieving a bold and full appearance. On the other hand, Nano brows utilize a rotary digital pen for precise pigment placement, resulting in softer and more diffused hair-strokes that are gentler on the skin and cause less trauma. The effect of Nano machine hair-strokes typically last longer compared to microblading.

Why is Nano brows superior than Microblading?

1. Nano brows are often favoured over microblading for several reasons. Firstly, it is suitable for all skin types, including mature, acne prone, oily and normal to combination. It is less invasive and gives less trauma/bleeding to the skin. Hence, more pleasant healing process, and gives more diffused and natural looking strokes. It has longer effectiveness, typically lasting 6-9 months longer than microblading. Additionally, the strokes heals and fades in a strokes formation. Nano brows maintain their original colour without turning ashy or grey, unlike microblading, which tend to fade into greyish or greenish and blur over time.

Is Nano machine strokes Painful?

1. Individual pain thresholds vary from person to person, but most clients who have undergone this service express that it is less uncomfortable on the skin compared to microblading.

Topical anesthetics are applied prior to the procedure to reduce any discomfort felt during the procedure.

What is the pre-care of Nano brows?

1. Do not consume alcohol or coffee 24 hrs prior the procedure
2. Do not consume fish oil or Vitamin E supplements during the week preceding the appointment, as they act as natural blood thinners
3. Discontinue the use of any retinol or Vitamin A products for one week before the appointment.
4. Avoid receiving Botox injections for three weeks prior.
5. Refrain from receiving any facial treatments or peels for two weeks prior.
6. Do not exercise on the day of the procedure.

What are the after care of Nano brows?

1. Refrain from direct exposure to sunlight, sauna sessions, swimming, chemical peels, laser treatments, or intense exercise for at least a week following the procedure.
2. Resist the urge to pick or scratch your brows, even if it itches, which is typical during the initial days.
3. Avoid direct contact of water on your treated brow area.
4. Use the ointment recommended by the artist to assist in the healing process.

How long does Nano Brows last?

1. The procedure can last anywhere between 1.5 hr to 3 hrs depending on various factor such as client’s consultations, pigment selection, mapping of the brow shape, natural brow conditions of the brows, desired outcome, the artist skill level and meticulous shading application to achieved the desired outcome.

How often do I need to do touch up?

1. In general, most clients opt for a touch-up every 12 to 18 months to maintain the vibrancy and shape of the brows. However, some individuals may require touch-up sooner as it fades faster or wants to make changes in colour or shape of their brows.
